Got nothing to do...
Yesterday went to LAN with Chunkeet Lewis Jiewpeng and my bro...
Left 4 dead 2!
the new L4D has so many new changes!!!
Personally i like the jockey
can litterally ride the humans haha
but my favourite is still the boomer...
this big fat and slow zombie
gives you kicks when u can blow up right in the human's faces
as for the humans,
there are many new weapons like chainsaw, axe, sword etc...
dint really try them though
still prefer the guns

Chemistry Olympiad was tough
haha
not really la
actually the main thing was that we were not taught the stuff yet
like ionic eqm and chem eqm
so mainly guesswork
lol
as a result, i dare say that i get less than 50% correct!
the road to NUS was like dejavoo (dunno how to spell)
at the bourna vista mrt bus stop again...
i was the only one getting onto the 198 bus...
got some CJC peeps were there also but they were taking the other bus i think
haha actually i forgot when to press the bell liao...
lucky got one old man going NUS also, so he pressed the bell...
saw William over there,
he told me the paper was easy woah!
dunno whether real or fake...
but the thing is that they have training lor
Chem olympiad TRAINING...
what did AJ give us?
uncompleted syllabus...
Thanks AJC!
anyway, there was this meteor shower thing on wednesday morning...
haha didnt go
dunno if thats a good thing anot...
wanted to see the meteor showers and get starstruck!
but i had chem olympiad on tues and a jurong island trip on weds
so decided not to go...
though i really wanted to...
the jurong island trip to the exxonmobil plant was cool
haha its not everyday u get a chance to go into a petrolchemical plant
haha my taxi driver dad used to complain about passengers who wanted to go to jurong island...
cos he would nvr get any passenger out lol
waste a trip haha
I dint know ExxonMobil was ranked 2nd in fortune 500!
1st is Walmart...
so cool!
the workers must have rather high pay as well hehe^^
but i think the ONLY reason i would work their is for the money...
they say they pay their interns relatively higher than other companies...
hmm... can consider... lol
I felt super fortunate to be living in Bishan man!
its like the center of everything
go anywhere oso convinient
the mrt ride to and from jurong east was looooong and painstaking!
going there was not so bad, because i had company,
but the return trip was torturous...
1stly because the jurong east station train doors open on both sides...
then everyone all rush in, the train was packed like sardines in 3 seconds!
then i was one of the 1st few who got in
naturally i would try to find a space to lean on
then this old man ar, go snatch my place leh!
irritating...
then he look at me like i do something wrong liddat...
so i had to stand not leaning for the next 40 mins of the ride...
stand until my legs sore...
i totally cannot imagine going through that horrendous process EVERYDAY!!!
OMG!
My application as an OGL has been successful YAY!
feel sad for those who didnt make it through...
awww....
but heard they shortening the orientation to 3 days only
dunno whether true,
but it will be damn sad lor
3 day where got fun?
maybe if overnite then fun lor
hehe^^

Outing at East Coast Park!
almost the whole class went!
except for Sivah, Zi Hui, Joo Fei, Hui Shan, Mei Xian.
WOHOO 20/25 attaendence!
haha what a sense of accomplishment lol
A lot of things happened yesterday...
1st we had to stone in the amk library for dunno how long...
waiting for the second group...
anyway, we soon took the mrt to bedok,
looking for bus 401 at bedok interchange,
only to realise that it only operates on weekends...
WOW...
in the end we took 196 or 197 i think,
forgot liao...
then we stop in front of this blue condo like building...
Hardy Hardy...
"if i lead u wrongly u can kill me!" he says
haha ended up abt 1or 2 busstops away from the macdonalds...
after meeting estee at macs,
we split into 2 grps, cycling/rollerblading and bowling...
dunno wad the bowling grp did la...
haha
We're a bit dissapointed that the shop didnt rent rollerblades...
so all of us went to rent bicycles...
where are we gonna cycle?
"go to changi village wan anot? 20 minutes only" claims the all-deceiving Nick Chaim...
deceived all of us...
cos in the end we took 2 hours PLUS!
cycle, and cycle, and cycle...
we even went pass the whole of changi airport!
took a picture to prove it!
hah!

ok la the picture doesnt show the control station, but its supposed to be there :P
the road was loooong
but in the end, we were happy we reached that changi village...
BUT
we were greeted with empty tables and seats and stalls with shutters over them...
they were closed for spring cleaning!!!
YAY how wonderful!
our 2hr plus cycle was...
for nothing...
but No!
the fierce and determined huiying refused to go back empty handed...
so in the end all of us went to eat at a nearby chicken rice stall...
haha that refuelling station burnt a hole in my pocket...
anyway, after that, we had to cycle back...
because no taxi driver was willing to fetch bicycles in their boot...
note that i said bicycleS because there was like 12 of us left...
the Changi Survivors!
HuiYing Jacqueline Candy Cheryl MunAw Nick JunHao HoKit Kris Eric WeiRong Me
the rest went back to the bowling grp and went home liao...
by the time we finished eating it was 8pm...
we had to CHIONG back to the shop to return the bikes by 9pm...
at full speed, we managed 1 hour and 15 mins back to the shop...
cycle until legs become jelly liao...
anyway it was still very enjoyable!
haha still enjoying my muscle ach now :P lol
but still havent kill my urge to bowl haha...
maybe next time...

I guess I have'nt been blogging for a while, so here goes...
Signed up to be an OGL...
haha, the feeling of being interviewed by students felt super weird
especially when your interviewer is your fren...
somemore, he act serious, ask "so you are guojie rite?"
was LMAOing, though i tried to control myself...
I hope i pass the interview...
anyway, i feel quite happy nowadays...
maybe its because I'm the top 27 in AJ!
wonder how my frens in other schools are being owned...
haha thats all i can do to console myself for coming to AJ...
But then again, all tbhis would not have happened if i didnt drop Higher Chinese in Sec 3...
utterly regret now...
but people wont understand until they regret it...
so many people in my class want to drop econs...
i mean, if you are forced to drop then its ok,
but you shouldnt drop any subject if you dun have to...
some people say that cannot compare chinese with econs,
because chinese got use but econs no use...
econs no use?
then why take econs in the 1st place???
by taking all H2, you are giving yourself a choice...
a chance to downgrade the lowest scoring subject...
econs may be bad now, but it might be different at the A Levels...
then if some other subject becomes worse,
arent you discounting yourself by not giving yourself a chance to downgrade that worse subject?
somemore, seniors have said that people who even fail AJ econs can gt A at A lvls...
Then H1 and H2 econs the gap very
BIGmore emphasis on case study and less on essay...
content oso cut in half...
BUT
just like for chinese and higher chinese...
i feel that after awhile you will feel that the difference is not that big...
you will feel that you can study equally as hard, get a better grade,
but in terms of rank points, a H2 C grade is better than a H1 A grade...
Furthermore, dropping 1 subject means increased stress on your other subjects?
now you must get better grades more than ever when you drop a subject...
Also, dropping one subject doesnt necessarily mean that you will do well in it...
but it means that now you only have 1 path, you must do well in ALL your subjects...
to be comparable to people who take all H2...
I'm not discriminating against people who drop econs...
but i feel strongly against it...
against the voluntary dropping of the subject...
or of any subject in that matter...
Must think rationally when considering matters of such grave importance...
dun make hasty decisions like me and live to regret later on...
